Assign a Profile

NOTE:    This feature is only available for some reefer devices.

This feature allows you to assign a specific profile to one or more selected assets. When selecting multiple assets, make sure the asset’s devices are of the same type. Check the Product Type column if you are not sure.

NOTE:    ORBCOMM Customer Care must create a profile before you can assign it.
CAUTION:    Changing a profile could impact the reporting frequency, the data displayed in the platform, and the battery performance.
  1. From either

    Live Map > Asset Dashboard, OR

    Asset View > Location Tracking Report, OR

    Asset View > Reefer Status Report, select an asset from the Asset ID column.

  2. From the icon list, click , and then select Assign Profile.

  3. From the dialog box, use the Profiles drop-down menu to select the profile you want to assign.

  4. Click Assign Profile.

  5. Confirm the assignment.
